Our experienced Physicians certify the patient’s prognosis of terminal illness. They lead the patient care team and oversee the entire end-of-life care given to the patient.
Nurses
Our team of compassionate registered nurses and LVN’s focus on the end-of-life care and manage pain and other symptoms. They also teach the family how to take care of the patient and use medication correctly.
Therapists
Our team of specialized therapists including PTAs assist the patient to maintain their functional abilities for as long as possible and assist in pain control. Occupational Therapists along with their assistants ensure that patients are able to optimize function and assist them in essential activities. Our Speech therapist address areas of communication, cognition and treat feeding and swallowing difficulties enabling patients to make decisions and fulfill their end-of-life goals.
Medical Social Workers
Our Medical Social Workers provide support and counselling to patients and their family in dealing with the end stages of the patient’s life. They help patients manage the stress of the illness and help the family members overcome their emotional pain of losing a loved one.
Hospice Aides
Our Hospice aides take care of personal grooming of the patient. They ensure a healthy and safe environment for patients.
